We are a passionate team who believe in the power of meaningful travel. Under the name Misr Moments, we organize inspiring Muslim-friendly group trips to Cairo for brothers and sisters who yearn for more than just tourism.
What makes us unique
While most tour operators limit themselves to beach destinations like Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, or a short stopover in Cairo for a view of the pyramids, we offer something completely different: an in-depth journey that revolves around the connection with Allah, Islamic culture, and history – through the heart of Islamic Egypt.
Cairo is often overlooked, simply because it's unfamiliar or considered "difficult" to explore independently. Over the past few years, we've spoken with countless people who wanted to visit Cairo but didn't know where to begin or didn't feel comfortable organizing it themselves.

Suzan - Founder & Tour Guide
Founder of Misr Moments , half Dutch and half Egyptian, and from a young age connected to Egypt's rich history and beauty. What began as a childlike wonder grew into a deep love and ultimately a mission: to help others experience the splendor of Egypt.
As an Islamic parenting coach and religious education teacher with over 10 years of experience, Suzan knows exactly how to combine atmosphere, structure, and Islamic awareness. She speaks Egyptian, knows the local culture inside and out, and ensures that Western travelers feel safe, comfortable, and inspired.
Suzan is not only your tour guide, but also a good listener, motivator, and bridge-builder. Her passion for Egypt and Islamic history is at the heart of a unique travel experience.

Mustapha - Tour Guide & Host
Suzan's husband, Mustapha, is of Moroccan descent but feels a strong connection to Egypt and its rich culture. During his many trips to Egypt, he personally experienced the unique atmosphere, hospitality, and warmth of Egyptian life—something he now enjoys sharing with others.
His mission is to introduce the Moroccan community, among others, to this unique travel experience: the interplay of faith, history, and culture that makes Egypt so special. With his open and engaging nature, Mustapha ensures that everyone feels welcome and at home during their trip.

Mr. Hader - Local Tour Guide & Group Leader
Mr. Hader is our reliable on-site tour guide. He accompanies the group daily, ensures the day's itinerary runs smoothly, and takes care of all practical matters. From the moment you arrive at the airport until the end of your trip, he's there to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Mr. Ashraf - Program & Logistics Coordinator
Mr. Ashraf is the organizer behind the scenes. He's responsible for all reservations—from hotels and attractions to restaurants, guides, and transportation. Thanks to his meticulous preparation, the group can enjoy a perfectly organized trip without any worries.
