General Terms and Conditions

By booking a trip through Misr Moments (in partnership with Loloat Travel Egypt), you agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read these carefully before booking.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is only final after the full deposit has been received and you have received a confirmation email from us.

  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking.

  • The travel sum must be paid in full and on time. If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

2. Travel documents & Health

  • Participants are responsible for their own valid travel documents (passport, visa, and any vaccination certificates). Passports must be valid for at least six months after their return.

  • The participant is responsible for taking out his/her own travel and cancellation insurance.

  • Participation requires normal physical and mental fitness. If you have any health problems, are taking medication, or have any limitations, please inform us in writing within 24 hours of booking. If participation is not safe or responsible for this, we reserve the right to refuse the trip.

3. Accommodation & Travel Program

  • The rooms are standard double rooms with separate beds. For an odd number of participants, a triple room can be arranged.

  • A single room is possible at an additional cost.

  • The itinerary may be modified due to local circumstances, safety, weather conditions, or force majeure. We always do everything we can to offer a suitable alternative.

4. Additional Costs

  • Not all meals, excursions, or personal expenses are included in the tour price. Any additional costs are the responsibility of the participant.

5. Cancellation policy by the participant

In case of cancellation by the participant, the following costs apply:

  • Up to the 42nd day before departure: deposit (max. 35% of the tour price).

  • From the 42nd to the 21st day before departure: 60% of the tour price.

  • From the 21st to the 14th day before departure: 80% of the tour price.

  • From the 14th day before departure: 100% of the tour price.

6. Cancellation by the organization

  • If we have to cancel a trip due to circumstances beyond our control (such as COVID measures, natural disasters, political unrest or other forms of force majeure), the trip will be rescheduled to a new date.

  • Refund of the travel sum is only possible if your place on the new date is taken by another participant.

7. Liability

  • Participation in the trip is entirely at your own risk. Misr Moments and Loloat are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, nor for bodily or mental injury, unless this is the direct result of gross negligence or intent by the organizers.

  • We are not responsible for refusals by airlines, customs, or other authorities due to missing or invalid travel documents or failure to comply with applicable (COVID) regulations.

8. COVID-19 and other measures

  • The participant is responsible for being aware of the applicable measures and entry regulations (e.g. vaccination or recovery certificate, PCR tests).

  • If you do not meet the requirements of the country of departure or arrival, you are not entitled to a refund.

9. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to treat each other respectfully and to comply with local laws and regulations.

  • In case of serious undesirable behavior (aggression, disrespect, disruptive behavior), the tour guide reserves the right to exclude the participant from (further) participation, without reimbursement of costs.

10. Complaints & Disputes

  • Any complaints should be reported to the tour guide as soon as possible so that a solution can be found during the trip.

  • If a complaint has not been resolved satisfactorily, it can be submitted in writing after the trip.
